(no subject)
It was crowded on the train this morning (no different than usual) but I noticed a man was taking up two spaces on the bench. Nobody has any guts but me apparently so I tapped the man on the shoulder and said, "Excuse me," expecting him to slide over so I could sit. Instead, he stood up. I don't know if he thought I was asking him to stand up or if he thought to himself, If I can't have two seats, I won't sit at all, but I felt so embarrassed, especially after nobody sat down next to me until more people got on at the next stop.
