im terrible at over explaining. i treat my readers like they're morons, not only do i explain things in huge detail, but i do it over and over to make sure that they got the point.

I am guilty too, but I learned this lesson from "Self-Editing For Fiction Writers"

So now I am working hard trying not to explain, but just to show it one bit at a time.
