Today was the first day of tennis. Woot! I don’t (totally) suck!!! How awesome is that. Today was the first day I swung a fucking racket since last year’s districts. Woo!
Mike Bennett is coaching us this year (along with Kitman *cough*). He’s pretty cool. He said something about how he doesn’t talk as much as Kitman… It was fucking hilarious! You had to be there, and you have to know Kitman. You know, he hasn’t really talked that much this year… Good job for him…
ANYWAYS, Mike took all the returning people aside and asked them who they wanted as team captain. I hope he doesn’t think I’m narcissistic or arrogant because I voted for myself. Hush!! The person who I might have voted for didn’t even go to practice today, so I’m just like, “Screw them, I vote me!” I think I’d make a fairly good team captain. I went to every practice freshman year, went to practices that other people went to sophomore year… I usually remember stuff that I need to tell other people… I’d like to be a team captain. I hope other people voted for me, but considering there were only 4 girls out today… bah.
You don’t have to be a great player to be a captain, right? I keep hitting the balls into the net. Last year, I kept hitting the balls over the fence. DAMN IT!!
