Jen's books cont.
Once again, I think I have forgotten a few titles...

22. Tipping The Velvet - Sarah Waters
Early last year I read 'Fingersmith' by this author. Fingersmith was a great tale with a fantastic twist. 'Tipping the Velvet', however, seemed to be more about the lesbian sex scenes than the actual plot. That being said, it was an ok read, if you don't mind a few lesbian sex scenes.

23. The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood
Brilliant! So amazing! I can't believe that I didn't discover this novel earlier. Everyone start reading Margaret Atwood (Jenna, you have to read this book !)

24. High Fidelity - Nick Hornby

25. Alias Grace - Margaret Atwood

26. Assassin's Apprentice - Robin Hobb
One of the best fantasy books I have read in a long time. Original and not overly complicated (ie. not like Robert Jordan)

27. Almost French - Sarah Turnbull

28. Year of Wonders - Geraldine Brooks
A fictional novel based on a small town which isolates itself during the plague. Quite interesting.

29. Memoirs of a Geisha - Arthur Golden
