been on vacation
Went to my friend's wedding in Stockton, CA. Stopped at In n' Out Burger, of course. In any case, a severe combination of hubris and slackerdom means that I may not finish The Little Friend in time for book club next Thursday. I did read the DC books -- not much to say about those, but for the record Dupont Circle was better than Her (which was pretty bad, quite frankly). Priceless was actually pretty fun, and got me wishing that I had a couple of pieces of nice jewelry. Haven't gotten around to the Krakauer yet. Nothing to add yet to the "Next Up" list.
