Wake me up Before September ends
I know I just posted like 10 minutes ago, but I don’t care,
I just realized how excited I am for fall.
The colors are absolutely beautiful.
The air is so cool and crisp.
Scenic drive is this weekend,
and that means a huge weenie roast/bon fire at my uncles house in K-ville.
I really wish I could express myself,
or just know bigger words because
I can never really say how I feel.
Im just so excited,
and I really love fall.
Everything is so in one word
beautiful.
The leaves, the weather, the atmosphere.
Nights like this.
The rain without the scary crashing thunder, without the stark lightening.
Just rain taunting you with its rhythmic music against the window.
Fall isn’t miserable like summer where you’re sticky and sweaty.
It isn’t cold and unfortunate like winter with ice and literally freezing temperatures.
It isn’t messy like spring when the snow turns into slush and everything is muddy from the melting snow.
Fall is just perfect.
Saturday I get to go downtown and volunteer at the Scarecrow festival.
I get to make fall/Halloween decorations with little kids.
Call my pathetic, but im excited.
And, Halloween is my 2nd favorite holiday.
I guess tonight just really got me into the feeling for fall and the fallish atmosphere.
