HOLY SHIT!! It's been a long time...
Wow...Since '06. Long time ago. I don't even know where to start. Ok...so I won't, not worth the time and I'm seriously lacking in effort as of late.
Good thing. Got a new job. So I'll now currently have three. Yes, three. Gotta get that shit taken care of one way or another, right? Only way I know how. I start on Tuesday of next week and then don't have to be back till Saturday. Which makes me excited that I can actually go and visit my Poppie in Arkansas for a few days and not just 1 1/2.
Had a few dreams about Went lately. Slightly odd. Not Went, just dreaming about him. Gorgeous yes, outta my league...I'm pretty sure we don't even play in the same state. But he always looks great.
Saw Gone Baby Gone yesterday. Amazing. Casey Affleck besides being frickin' cute is intense and totally powerful. Some major acting chops there. Plus Ben did a fucking amazing job directing it. Dennis Lehane is a powerful writer and Ben is a fantastic storyteller.

Uh...I ended up randomly at IHOP last Friday. Ran into Nate. Been a VERY long time where that's concerned. Didn't even recognize him. But it was fine. Ate my super yummy pumpkin spice pancakes, paid, and bailed. No biggie. No harm, no foul. That was definitely odd and yet comforting. One of those 'I have conclusion' kinda things. Yeah, it's a Courtney thing, don't ask.
Mike's party was last week..I think. Yeah last week. Fucking fun! Holy shit so much fun. And damn did I need it bad. Really bad. Went to dinner at Buca Di Beppo's. Family style Italian dining. With a lot of the S4 crew. Ended up at D&B for drinks, then on to JR's, Woody's and then back to Mike's place for some Guitar Hero 3. Where Amber kicked my lily white ass to shreds...ok I've never played GH before so it wasn't that hard to do but still...Drank some red wine and discussed the merits of The Beatles vs. Madonna till 5AM. I needed that like a crackhead needs a hit. It was a blast. And will definitely need to have some down time while I work my ass off about 70 hrs. a week for the next 6 months or longer.
Hmm...just got a call from Candace for drinkage at Two Rows in Allen. Could be fun. I think I'll go. :) Could do with some company for a while.
