The day care center I used to go to when I was younger was a church... the "teachers" used to punish kids by doing crazy stuff like popping kid's hands with forks and those big ass plastic baseball bats- one even made me fucking DUCK WALK for like an hour (I can bet that's why I have Budweiser Horse legs now)! I even got popped one time because I threw up after eating their lunch... *smh*
But what really made my mom pull me from the center was back when she offered to do their bookkeeping, and the preacher told her that she was "gettin' under his skin"... that was his way of showing he was attracted to her! *gag*
btw, i heard some gaelle the other day and i was like "that name sounds familiar"...then i remembered that that's your girl. "transient" is one cool track.

I've personally never felt the need to have to go to a church to prove that I am right with God myself, especially considering that churches are run by nothing more than flesh and blood as myself...
But I've also never really been a religious person... I'm more agnostic than anything else, and if there would be any kind of spiritual influence in my veins, I'd probably more that likely be a Buddhist.
And of course, almost every church I have ever attended was full of crooks, from the preacher on down!

I think any place where the preacher is driving a Lexus and the rest of his congregation is poor, is fucked up and I have been many places like that before I figured out what a joke it all was...nbow I am myself. I dable in evertyhign from Chrisitianit in my own way, to neo paganism to Buddhism...I think it is one's own choice to choose what to believe..not to have to stand up and repeat after some preacher and make promises to God you are not sure you can keep. Yep been there too...the only type I church I would consider now is UNittarian because they are open and accept all faiths...

Right... I've always been the one to say that religion and faith should only be for that given person... basically it's up to me to search and be enlightened, not tell everyone else whether or not they're going to hell.
