I have seen the Candyman!
Thanks to friends in certain places, I have downloaded Jamiroquai's new album, Dynamite, and listened to it in its entirety. All I can definitely say is that it still isn't on par with the first three albums, but DAMN, I think it's skyrocketed past the two prior to this one. Jay found a way to get a good bit of his funk back, and many of the tracks are still pretty disco-ish, but without the watered down, money-clothes-hoes sound I didn't care much for on A Funk Odyssey.
It's slated to come out here on the 20th, and since I am the type to support music and musicians I like and appreciate, I'm going to buy the CD when it gets here. Now I only have to wait and see what kind of World Tour they'll be putting together- it's been six years since I saw them last, and damnit, I want to see them again! *stomps foot*
Well, I'm off to clean up and continue jamming!
