It's the most wonderful time of the year....
I'm back.... and it's time for the 2015 sshg_giftfest!
...and it could not have come a better moment. In part due to the change in seasons (I am *so* not ready summer to be over) in part due to things being utterly bonkers at my job, and finally because I'm in difficult place, plot-wise in my WIP, Hallelujah- https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10155733/1/Hallelujah - but I've just not been able to write a bloody thing the last three weeks. Enter the sshg_giftfest: having something completely new and different to work on is finally breaking through my writer's block. Moreover, reading through everyone's wished-for prompts is fun... and oh, to have the time to do several of them! Then, of course, there is anticipation of wondering which one of *my* prompts will be chosen, and how the mystery author will interpret it. All in all, it's good stuff, and I'm hoping that it will continue to inspire the muse.
So... fingers crossed. It worked out well for me last year; not only did I receive a fantastic prompt from irishredlass *and* got a wonderful story from celestialbeing1, but it also really helped me with my WIP. And hey, if all else fails, my weekends wont be spent in total frustration... it's officially football season. Go Hawks!
