My working vacation....
As most of my flist knows....I just came back from a trip to Bangkok (BKK). This time it was a 'working vacation' in the fullest sense of the words. We had some customers that went over strictly on a holiday. Since HB and I needed to go over for work, we timed our trip so we would be there at the same time. While HB was at work, I spent my days running around with my customers, Julian and his wife Debra. Running around entailed shopping, a little sightseeing, getting a couple of massages and eating some great food. Work sometimes has it perks.
These are some piccies that I thought I would share.
~ A great many of them are of a Wat (Buddhist temple)...two different ones to be exact located around Ayuthaya. Wat Mahathat and Wat Chai Watthanaram.
~ Another set are of Bang Pa In - the Summer Palace of the King of Thailand. It is a whole hodge podge of architectural styles but lovely.
~ The aquatic pics are from the new aquarium at the Siam Paragon Shopping Center in BKK that recently opened.
~ Pics of one spa I go to for massage. :)
~ The rest of the pics are of the cruise and the scenery from the return journey from Bang Pa In. Lunch was served onboard.
