Based on my computer specs, using DVDDecrypter ripping straight to VOB* files:
Episode Length: Forty-five minutes
Total File Size: 1.21GB, ripped by chapters
Time to Accomplish: Eight minutes. Note: Most other windows are closed, only minimal computing process were active.
* VOB files can be changed to MPG by simply renaming the extension to mpg or mpeg. Voila', easy as that.
Edited: I just checked my possibly-never-to-be-finished Batman Returns vid file and I have 19.8GB worth of rips and project files. This count does not include my original VOB files. Rips are in uncompressed AVI format ( Panasonic DV Codec) and are somewhat selective in content.
