Busy Beavers
I decided to scythe the "field" in my back yard today. (It used to be a "lawn".) It looked a bit different than the last time I was back there--it seemed like all the blackberry bushes had been removed. Then I noticed some small trees by the pond that had fallen over. On closer inspection, the branches were gone and the bark had been removed. There were some larger trees still standing, but many of them looked like they were in the process of being chopped down with an ax. All this, combined with the pond being higher than I'd ever seen it before, points to one conclusion: BEAVERS.
