Extending the Bush tax cuts, particularly to high incomes, is fiscally irresponsible. These tax cuts have been part of the problem that led us into our pending fiscal disaster and should be eliminated. The argument that removing the upper income tax cuts would reduce employment by small business is utter nonsense. Having a higher marginal tax rate would actually ENCOURAGE hiring, as the after-tax cost of hiring workers would be decreased!
I know that as a republican you want to stand with your party, but you represent the most liberal state in the nation and you have an obligation to do so honestly.
