I NEED HELP.
late tuesday night, 10gb worth of photos were deleted while transferring files to a new hard drive. it's been kind of crazy, to say the least. it's totally my fault; I was clearing some files from the old storage device, and accidentally selected a folder that wasn't in the new hard drive yet. the problem is that folder contained every single digital photo I shot from october to december 05, which may not seem like a lot, but remember... it was 10gb worth.
the good news is that I backup many of my photos on flickr in their high-res state, and many of my photos are on CDs that have been handed out to friends. unfortunately, I certainly don't put everything online and don't give everything to friends. and I started to shoot RAW files late last year, so those have been lost as well.
i was wondering if ANYONE can help me out with this... the folder was originally backed up on a 20gb peerless drive (essentially a mass USB storage device), and I erased the files, BYPASSING THE RECYCLING BIN (as I didn't have my recycling bin set up to hold that much stuff). I've read that it is STILL possible to somehow retrieve the files after doing this, and I was hoping that someone may have an idea of what program / app / people I should try to work with.
i'm offering a substantial amount of oral sex and maybe a few 12" x 18" prints (or something) to anyone who can lead me to something that can retrieve at least some of that folder. big big big big thanks in advance... this means a lot to me, as you might know.
