Ok, let me collect my wits (and my hundreds and hundreds of unread work emails) and I'll get back to you, Good Readers, with the State of The Eight Bit One, post vacation (and pre vacation, as we're off to The Mouse this weekend).
Highlights: beautiful weather, finding the cabin where we spent our honeymoon, apple fritters from The Apple Barn, did I mention the weather?, drive home was a smooth cruise even in the construction zones on 75 south of Hotlanta...
Lowlights: drive up was less than stress-free, the above-mentioned pollen, I seem to have caught a cold, I left my laptop at the cabin (the inlaws will drop it at the house Sunday on their way home), and bazillions of wood-boring carpenter bees (Ray had us all swatting 'em with badminton rackets, which is harder than it sounds)
