You have plenty to believe in. What makes you think that resisting change in respectable? Your ability to look at matters in new perspectives is a key to growth, and it is good that you have that channel open, because you will be doing a lot of growing now. Keep an open mind, but don't forget your central values. You know when something is wrong. You have eighteen years of experience under your belt to help guide you. Always try to do what YOU think is right; if you feel uncomfortable, DO something about it. You're growing up now, dear, and the only person who's going to be held accountable for your actions is you.

So think before you act. Is this really a choice you want to make? It will help keep you out of more sticky situations in the future.

I know that staying out of trouble is seldom fun, and there are things that you will do that will go against your better judgment. You will mess up, but that's alright. We're growing up, not grown ups. This is the best time of our lives to date, so enjoy it! But you know what choices you need to make to live the life you want to live.

Take this as a lesson learned, yes? You now see what could have happened, what should have happened, and can now adjust your life accordingly. Have faith in yourself and your decision-making skills, and don't lose sight of who you want to be and what it will take to get you there.

You are about to embark on a wonderful adventure. I am so excited for you. I know that you are going to have a fantastic journey, whatever you chose to do, and I have complete faith that you are going to grow into an amazing, mature adult.

Best of luck in all that you do. I wish you the best.
