It is after 2:00am on Saturday night, and I just had gotten back not too long ago from an outing to Perkins with Preston. We had some interesting things to say about what has been going on with our respective lives, mostly dealing with our personal lives, and suffice it to say I think we both helped out each other. Always do enjoy conversations of that nature with you Preston. I think you should heed my advice in what I suggest you should really consider doing. It was also self reaffirming for some of the stuff going on with me. I believe very much so that I am on the path I should be and to be honest, I feel pretty good about that. Side note: I had recently let Steph's sister borrow Damien Rice's second album and it had dawned on me that I have not listened to him for a very long time. That is just unacceptable. I am posting a video of "Delicate" by him from his first album, because it is really hitting home for me, but I still had a very hard time picking out which song I wanted to use because they are all so damn good. I do believe genius is not overstating what he is. I know I have gone on before in past posts about how much emotion he puts into his songs, but he is sooooo good. And in this version he seems to be especially soulful in his performance.
