sorry it's been so long since i last wrote in this, but I found out earlier this week that my roommate got a virus on his computer, so our room was quarantined from the internet and haven't been able to get on very easily. I won't get access back until Monday or Tuesday, so that's also why I haven't been online, and I'm using a friend's computer right now for homework, because I have a lot to do, seeing as how I haven't done any this week. Mainly because I spent roughly 15 hours on this creative date that we put on last night, which, if I may so so, was absolutely superb. I found out that I actually can cook. It was awesome. Since our bible studies for CRU are split up by gender, the guys bible studies will sometimes ask the girls bible studies out on creative dates to get to know them. So me and my friend Jake cooked Italian food for them at one of my friend's sister's house for 22 people. We were cooking beasts. We were able to cook up spaghetti, chicken parmesan, and vegetarian lasagna, along with homemade garlic bread. And for dessert, Tiramisu, which we had to make Thursday night. I don't know how we did it, but at one time we had the lasagna, chicken parmesan, and two loaves of garlic bread in the oven, with boiling 2 different kinds of spaghetti sauce and the spaghetti. It had to have been divine intervention, because neither me nor Jake has ever cooked before, and everything actually tasted good. Yeah, I know, I was shocked too. The only thing that really kinda sucked about making the food was that we didn't have as much time to meet all of the girls. After dinner, we had a girls vs. boys two-truths-and-a-lie game, which was a good way to meet everyone. After that, we all went over to the JV hockey game against Michigan, which was hella fun, definately harrassed the other team to the max, and lost most of my voice. We got out of the game at about 1am, then walked over and dropped the girls off, then it was time to turn our attention to clean up. Which took some time, seeing as how me and Jake decided to dirty up the kitchen quite a bit. So, we got done with cleaning up the house at 3, and then, since I hadn't eaten any of the dinner due to the fact that we used up all of the food we made, me and some friends went to Steak 'n Shake. Definately got back to my room at 4, and absolutely crashed. I was exhausted. So, that was my incredibly long, but highly rewarding night. And also, more news on Nick's love life is at hand, and unfortunately, it's not in the direction that I had hoped. That's all I'm going to say here, because I agree with her reasons, and if I explain them on here, they'll probably be miscrontrued and misinterpreted. So, if you would like details, you can talk to me in person. Other than that, I will hopefully be back online talking to everyone soon.
