(no subject)
well, looking back at my journal entries, I can say that its been about a week and a half since I last posted, and a lots happened since then. last friday was a memorable night. Me and my friends watched the three Star Wars movies that just came out on DVD: A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return Of The Jedi, all in a row. we were watching Star Wars from 6PM through to about 1:30AM. It was absolutely awesome. Also last weekend, my parents and neighbors came down for the football game. It was nice to see them again. We went to the game, then walked around campus (nostalgia for my dad), then my parents and neighbors went out to Papa Dell's for pizza, but since the wait was an hour and a half, i opted to go back to my dorm room instead of eating with them. I ended up getting leftovers tho, so its all good :). Unfortunately, that weekend was not a good weekend for football. We lost to Purdue by eight, which isn't too bad considering they were favored by 21 points. More crushing tho, was the Bears game. They stayed in there and fought hard, but the injury count is staggering, most notably the Rex Grossman is out for the season, which is a tough blow. this week, however, has been kept busy by me doing hw. i had to get a lot of stuff done, because this weekend i'm going on a retreat with the christian organization im in, CRU (campus CRUsade for christ). We're going to Twin Lakes Camp in Indiana, leaving tonight, and getting back sometime Sunday. It's gonna rock. I'm going down with some of my good friends, and i can't wait to go. The only class I have left to get through is my Physics of Music class, then I'm home free...save for some more hw. Also this week, I started and finished the book Angels & Demons. I'm pretty sure most people have heard of it, and i urge everyone to read it. It's fantastic. I'm gonna start reading Da Vinci Code as soon as I can get a hold of a copy. Also, me and some physics friends invented the kooshicorn (if you dont know, ask me later...ill explain all). Well, it looks like I need to scoot off to class, so ill try to remember to post soon after i get back this weekend (no promises tho).
