Thank God that it's almost the end of the week. It feels like this semester is going to be just one straight study-session. I feel like whenever I'm not doing homework, I should be, because there's always something due, or something I should be preparing for/studying for/reading up on. It's really going to get old very quickly. I know that if I can just hold on this semester, that things will be better in the future, because I am NOT going to be taking 4 difficult, time-intensive classes in one semester again. Not happening.
But anyways, going along with my complaint about having no time, I think I'm going to try out for the Marching Illini again. I'm feeling much better about my odds this time around, mainly because there are going to be three out of the five tenors leaving, which means three open spots, which is a lot at one time. Also, I'm friends with one of the other tenor players, who offered to help me learn some stuff that I'll need. So I think I'm going to go for it, and see what happens. The first "audition" date is Feb. 25th, which is coming up pretty quickly. I'm fairly excited about playing tenors again, hopefully I've still got it!
