silence
i have no voice.
earlier i was trying to record a song on banjo, and i kepy screwing it up. after a while i decided to put the banjo away and to try again later on tonight/tomorrow, as i was beginning to get quite annoyed. i thought that my time would be better spent working on my thesis, since i have a meeting with my supervisor tomorrow.
so i loaded up my thesis stuff, and ran the version of the program that my supervisor and i put together last friday (this is the version that FINALLY works). it didnt work. i checked the source files... and it turns out that the files that we zipped up and emailed to me last week were the *unmodified* files (ie: the working version of the program is sitting on his hard-drive).
so now i have to go into this meeting tomorrow (at 9am, no less), and say that i havent done anything this week because i waited until the night before our meeting to try to work on it, and only then found out that i had the wrong version of the program.
it was at this point that i closed my doors and windows, turned on 'we're no here' by mogwai (a particularly loud and angry song), and then repeatedly screamed the word 'fuck' at the top my voice for a few minutes.
better that than smashing my new banjo.
