LOL, it's funny because I've spent the last couple weeks reading all the Sherlock/Molly fics I can find EVEN THOUGH I don't particularly ship them. I think it's a case of there's so little non-Johlock fic in the fandom that beggars can't be choosers.
That is SO true. I don't feel like I can whine too much about other pairings in Sherlock because of the sheer John/Sherlock dominance.
That being said if anyone has any Sherlock het recs for me I'd be absolutely thrilled. I'm still eternally grateful to you for reccing Compatible Damages to me. Has anyone written any Sherlock/Janine fics yet? THAT is a pairing I could really get behind.
I haven't seen any Janine fics (although I haven't been looking for that pairing), but would you be interested in a Sherlock/Jane (female John) fic? I've been pretty entertained by this one even though they're basically rehashing the first three eps. They're different enough to keep my interest. (Nothing bores me quicker than a fic that basically writes out a transcript of the eps.)
I admit I skipped Parts 1 and 4 because the premise didn't interest me much, but the others were good!
