I'm in the middle of a Star Trek TNG marathon. LOL this show. I'm not sure why anyone would bother with dangerous space travel when they have holodecks. Another thing - what do people do on the Bridge for the 99% of the time that they're not in battle or docking somewhere? I mean, a person on the Conn gets to push a button every 3 hours or so, so that's something to do. But what do the people in the Executive Chairs do? Do they have heart-to-hearts? Play word games? Gossip? I'm sad for them - their chairs aren't even recliners and I don't think they have cupholders.

Maybe this is a small thing I that makes me prefer DS9, they seem to actually have jobs most days, they do just kind of hang out and chat, and they have places to set drinks. No wonder Picard prefers to hang out in his ready room unless he's needed on the bridge, he can have his tea, earl grey, hot and play with his laptop from his comfy chair., or at least where he can slouch better away from the crew.

I can't make up my mind about trying Brooklyn Nine Nine or Sleepy Hollow, and I haven't watched any promos for Once, so I don't have much to comment on.

DS9's place for drinks is far superior to TNG. XD Must be nice being the Captain and you can go chill somewhere while on duty. Meanwhile the minions have to stare at the space screensaver for hours.

And I'd say give those new shows a try if you're looking for something to do. Just be prepared for an ultra silly plot with Sleepy Hollow. :D
