economic crisis in brians mind:
in the modern age money is increasingly imaginary.
we haven't had a hard currency (gold, silver) in a long time, instead using goverment certified paper representing the hard currency reserve of whatever nation the paper was from.
in recent years this paper has begun to become (and will continue to become)circumvented by digital money. our wealth is more and more nothing but a number in a computer. with investment wealth again being a representation of a percentage of the digital wealth of others (companys or collections of wealth ie banks). some of these companys lied about their number in the computer and caos theory took effect and all currency was forced to shift to fit with these new numbers. in this shift the banks, which hold everybodys numbers were put in jeapordy, thus the numbers existence, and thus wealth as a concept was threatened with annihilation.
