You know, if a director gets the final say in what gets shown on the screen after making a movie, then why do they release the home versions called directors cut, extended directors cut, etc? I only ask because the Alien Quadrilogy box set has 9 disks. One disk for each movie contains bot the regular theatrical release and the directors cut and the second disk contains behind the scenes, bloopers, commentaries, interviews, etc.
