Thought for the day...
We've had a lot of people on the net over the last twenty four hours discussing Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, whether he'll be good, bad, etc. The arguments are bouncing back and forth.
Just had a conversation with Craig in the pub about Smith, and the reason why the BBC have announced him over a year before he even appears...
What if it's a publicity stunt? What if Matt has been retained to pretend to be the new Doctor for all of 2009 and then at Christmas? Bam! Tennant regenerates into... Someone else...
It would be he beat kept secret ever in DW history.
