Fortune Cookies really DO know everything.
Jay and I had fortune cookies yesterday as a pre-dinner dessert. Mine said, “You have inexhaustible wisdom and power.”
It is good to see that even fortune cookies recognize this.
The other day, Nick, a mid-thirties mechanical engineer who sits in my area, came over to Daniella’s desk. Daniella is also a mechanical engineer, maybe late thirties or early forties. Her desk is next to mine. After coming over, Nick started quoting South Park or something in an effort to get on my nerves. I was giving him a dirty look and Daniella had started asking a question about something she had open on her desk top. Noticing that his eyes were not on her computer Daniella said, “Nick I need your attention here.” and pointed to her monitor. She scolded him like a 10 year old and I lost all composure. I have not laughed that hard at work in probably 2 weeks.
