Hubris in action
My Game Chef game is entered, but not actually finished. More or less, I wanted to be the first to enter their game. Is this a bad idea? Being overly eager? Filled with divinely punishable hubris?
Well, I had a complete draft and figured I'd enter it so there's guaranteed to be something entered, even if I'm hit by a meteor or something. Or, you know, chained to a rock and have eagles eat my liver.
Barring any improbably astronomical activity or Haliaeetus leucocephalus developing a hepatic diet, I hope to clean up that draft a lot and do some proper layout to it over the next week. Apparently, the contest actually ends next Sunday/Monday at midnight, so another Friday playtest may be viable.
