Great Disappointment.
So, yesterday I finally got the chance to sneak away to buy the new Madonna cd and the new Robbie Williams cd. To my surprise I found myself dumbfounded when the clerk at Bestbuy replied... "you mean Robin Williams? He is an actor, not a singer." WHAT THE BLOODY HELL? That should have been my response. However, I was polite and simply said... "No, I mean Robbie Williams." Long story short ... I went to 2 stores before finally finding the new Robbie cd and spoke to a large number of people who had no idea who he was. Sad. I don't understand since he is one of the biggest music stars in Europe and he lives here in LA. Oh well.
