(no subject)
so yes....i am back from cleveland...and it was cool...
so yea all week we planned and worked up 2 this family
fun festival. it had free food and inflatible stuff 4 the kiddies.
and they also had a concert by a band called broken yoke.
and when the concert started i went and sat w/ tony....whos now
my new friend from clevelan!!!
and we u know watched the concert...
well they started 2 play their version on "amazing grace"...
and i just got u know worked up and i just started bawling...
and tony was lik "r u ok?" so yea....
and thenjohn , the lead singer, started 2 speak a bit and i closed my eyes and just prayed
and after a while it only felt lik it was me and john,in the tent. and lik everything that i said or
thought about in my head that i had
problems w/ he would give the answer in his speach....and that just made me
cry more....
so then when he stopped they played one more song and we went up 2 the stage
(that was basically sittin on the floor) so we were lik right there w/ them.
and then afterwards we had the chance 2meet them. well 1st i went
up 2 john, and i just started tellin him what i just
told u and he lik....he didnt just sit there and say "ok thats cool". he lik
REALLY apreciated what i told him. and we sat there 4 another 20 min
just lik talkin. it was great!!! he really lik just talkin 2 him 4 that 20
min alowed me 2 almost change my life. john told me he said"u arent afraid 2 show how u feel
around ppl. " he told me that he would continue 2 pray 4 me and that
i will be in their minds during their devotion that night. that I......ME a lonly little freshman girl
wold be remembered by this great band!! i told all of the other guys
exactaly what i told john and they all said what john said.
this was the greatest experience EVER!!! i mean..heres the thing....
ppl go 2 concerts and "MEET" the bands. BUT......when they say
meet, they mean the saw the band and said about 2 words 2 them..
but i.....I got 2 really got 2 talk 2 em,..
it was amazing....theres alot more 2 this story but im just 2 tired and lazy 2 write about it... so
ur just gonna have 2 wait....
i got the news today that dave thomas passed away....this is gonna be a freat time of greeving 4 our church...and im not lookin forward 2 it..
