In my opinion: ( A few topics I have been contemplating)
You say you hate the way the world runs. You claim to disagree strongly with the government and the laws it creates. You ask WHY we have laws. You say people are people and regardless of laws or not, they are going to do as they please. I think this idea is bogus. Yeah, even with laws in place people still commit murder. HOWEVER, I think the fact that the law is there scares a lot of people from doing it. I think that if there wasn't a law against murder, for example, a lot more people would go ahead and murder someone, basically because they could without consequence. I do agree when you say that many of the laws we have are somewhat ridiculous (to many of us). They seem this way to the majority of the population because a lot of us have morals, and common sense. HOWEVER, there are PLENTY of people in this country that do not have the morals and common sense to realize that these things are wrong. This is why we have laws. Without laws, there would be mass chaos. You say you think people should be able to do as they please without infliction from the government. I think if everyone were to do as they pleased without any form of authority or basic guidelines, you really wouldn't want to live here. In simple terms, I think the country would be one HOT TRANNY MESS if you ask me. But hey, if you feel that harshly against the government and want to be able to do what you want, I say...fuck it. Do what you want. We live in a free country. Just don't get too crazy...there are consequences.
I really cannot stand to be around people that are rude. We all know these people. We all encounter them every single day of our lives. These are the people who sit in a lecture and have a legitimate conversation with their best friend sitting next to them at a casual conversation volume about pointless shit. These are the people who sit in a lecture and listen to their IPOD at full volume. These are the people who are as blunt as possible about everything with everyone. These are the people who are supposed to be legal adults but are still not able to decide when it is appropriate and when it is not to say and do certain things. These are the people who are completely closed minded and have absolutely nothing relevant to say to anyone, so they come up with insults to make themselves feel better. I whole-heartedly believe that the existence of these people is one of the main causes of such high numbers of depression, self loathing and lack of self confidence in our society. God fucking dammit.
Now that I am a legal adult, and a registered voter, this has been brought to my attention. The people who are registered voters who do not make their own decisions and cannot think for themselves. These people go along with what the majority of the individuals who surround them think. In my opinion, voting as someone else is worse than voting republican. And that sounds terrible, but it is true. And obviously, a republican could say the same thing about a democrat. Vote as an individual, not as your mom, dad, aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa, etc.
Life isn't about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself.
