Right. Her name's Melody Williams... Okay, fine, Melody Pond. There were people who wanted to use her for something, and The Doctor and I got her back, but she was taken away before I ended up here.
[Melody was right- she could see that; that had been the plan, at least. Melody Pond was right, too. -- But someone wanted her. Who would want a baby? She'd been taken and- Amy takes a moment to sit. She might not have had a child yet... But to learn it would be taken from them?]

I don't- I don't understand. Melody is- [Will be, could be, is already-] River's our... Daughter?
[If Amy could look any paler, she might have been post mortem. She would have a daughter someday, and someday soon, by the hear of it. That little girl would be named Melody, the name she'd always wanted to name a daughter. That little girl would grow up to be ... River Song. The woman she'd only met through the Doctor. Had saved the Universe with. The woman who was here, who had come to see her and. If there was ever a time for Amelia Pond to feel like a panic attack would be too calm of a reaction...]

[ rory didn't know what to do, because even until now he's still shocked, and he wasn't even so sure on how he's going to tell river that he knows. but he can't keep it from her - amy has the right to know, because melody's her daughter, too. ]
Y-Yes. It's River. [ shakily. ]
But we could still find her - find Melody, once we get out of here and...
[ he trails out, because would change and river would change and maybe they would steal all her adventures with the doctor in return, and he heard river talk to him, on how much her life would have been without meeting this brilliant doctor - why, why? ]
Oh, Amy. [ he can't do anything else but hug her and try to comfort her. ]
[It's likely that River already knows he does- but doesn't say anything for Amy's sake. Or for habit's or timelines or who knows, really. No one knew as much as River did, at least no one in Adstringendum.]
Why did they want her? [Melody. Why would they want their baby?]
[She turns into him, arms around to steady herself, face burying into the crook of his shoulder; such a safe place to hide, away from the world. Even if the one she was in wasn't even her own.]
[She can find her Roman. Where's he hiding?]
Should.. I be worried?

Not really. Maybe. It's nothing bad, but it's... weird. Awkward. ...Awkwardly weird.

Awkwardly weird. [Skeptical.] Okay, spit it out.

When I came here, I-I was talking about the both of us having a daughter, right?
[ They never really talked about that either. Might as well let that sink in before... er. ]

Yeah, I remember..

And, uh, she goes by another name now, and...
[ He stops, unsure what to say. ]
