wohoo, we have a name!
tim and i got home from a long day of shitty happenings. immediately after dinner i powered up the puter and decided to once and for all make a list with him of girl names we could choose from later. well, something better happened. as we browsed, tim and i had a little list of three names when outta nowhere we find the fourth and bam! we had our little girl's name. it's absolutely perfect! awesome compromise skills we both have. tim gets the most credit for naming our little girl but don't tell him i admitted to that.
why alisa and not alyssa? i hate having y's in a name, yes i realize i am psycho. and tim doesn't like that it's exactly like alyssa milano, child exhibitionist. also, as we searched the scottish baby girl's names they had ailsa. i thought, hmm. i like the name carisa, which is close to alyssa, but i hate the spelling so i changed it, omg, i have become one of those moms.
and i swear that if i go back to old journals i will find somewhere that i once mentioned how much i loved the name jade. hell, my favorite mortal kombat character is jade. and tim wouldn't budge to agree on any of my weird asian names so jade is perfect. i love that guy!!!
