Nephew X
I have a new nephew :) He was born yesterday morning at about 8:10, and popped out in record time. He came so fast, in fact, that they didn't have time to let us know they were on their way to the hospital.
His first name has not been determined yet, but his middle name will be my dad's. The names they had been considering were: Owen, Nolan, and Brady. They swear that they came up with "Owen" and "Nolan" separately, but uh...yeah. (psst...for any non-NHL fans, there's a hockey player named Owen Nolan.) Brady was the name that Peyton decided a couple of months ago, but Ger and Ry aren't really fans. Today, we were discussing "Charlie", which I like the best, by far. The thing is, that's Ryan's Grandma's husband's name, so that might be kinda weird. I really hope they go with Charlie, though. So cute.
Ryan called me yesterday at around 8:30, just after he was born. I was on my way out to work on a wedding, so I was uber late, but who cares. It felt weird to still work on some random person's wedding when my sister had just given birth.
The wedding went well. I'll probably post about it in a locked entry to follow.
