Yummy

So I was just cooking up some hamburgers. I was just about to flip them, when I noticed a light tinge of smoke in the air. So naturally I flipped them right away. They were perhaps a *bit* over-browned, but certainly not burnt.

Having flipped the burgers, I went into my room for a moment. When I returned, I found that if anything, the room had gotten *more* smokey. I checked the burgers again, but the second side was barely started. So I just ignored it. But it kept getting worse! I opened the window, but it was still building up - starting to make me cough, in fact. I figured there must be something in the burner itself, so I shut it off completely. Left it for a minute for the smoke to clear. But it DIDN'T! It got WORSE. I opened both the doors, but even that didn't seem to help. I was getting to the point where I was having trouble breathing in there!

And then it happened. I had an insight. Standing in the middle of my smoke-filled kitchen, my eyes watering, my lungs burning, it came to me. An epiphany you could say. Perhaps even a spark of genius. *Maybe* the problem wasn't the burgers at all. *Maybe* the problem was the bun I had put in the microwave for 15 minutes instead of 15 seconds, which was now happily ON FIRE.
