Sundays are usually the worst

But really, with the beautiful weather today, how could anyone be in a bad mood? I slept in til almost noon, but I made good use of the rest of the day. I stayed out til almost 2am last night at a country bar in Alexandria where I met Janelle and some of her friends. I also made some new friends that are new to the area and want to hang out with me again. They added me as a friend on myspace today, so it must be official. Neat!

Around 2pm, I put it my Sunday mix CD and drove up to Alexandria, where I saw Rebecca's new apartment. Wow, nice place!

We went out for a slice of pizza, then for ice cream. We walked a bit around Old Town before I dropped her off. Then I drove to another area of Alexandria that I really like called Del Ray. It's another old neighborhood but it has this coffee shop with seating outdoors called St. Elmo's Coffee Pub. I graded papers and went over my state testing materials for the science assessment tomorrow. I stayed there until after 7pm and the place closed an hour before that. But I got some shit done.

Tonight, I watched a great documentary on a character in American History that just fascinates me. His name is John Brown and he murdered in the name of abolitionism. He was considered a hero by some, but a terrorist to most. So I'm going to show it in class tomorrow and ask my kids which one they think he is and why.

And everything else? Eh, I'm dealin.
