She'd been braced for the Imp's cheek, but could not now be certain his words were that
They are tricky ones, those Lannisters ;)
It was no stretch of her imagination that she might begin her conquest of Westeros astride his back, as her ancestor Aegon the First had ridden Balerion
*grins wide*
"Prince Drogon likes it well done, does he?"
BAHAHA I LOVE that he calls him Prince!!
She wasn't certain which she found more surprising: that Jorah obeyed with a bow and no utterance of protest, or that the Imp's protruding brow wrinkled in something like a sympathetic expression as he watched the knight go.
Heh. Who says men can’t learn? ;)
she could not imagine why she was still talking to this vile little man, least of all with a respectful address.
Because he can actually maybe help?
"My father would have to be mad to burn his own city."
Yes, well…..
She knew he had protected her. That did not change the fact that he had first betrayed her.
:| Fair enough
Tyrion tells the truth as is. He is very blunt. I do enjoy repeating myself when I say that you have his character down well.
And what he says about the past is very sad indeed.
(though it is a very depressing past)
Tyrion's lips curved in a slight smile instead of his usual smirk. It made him look wise, she thought. And kind.
Heh, aw, Tyrion.
"If you don't know it already, Daenerys," he said, "you soon shall see that the world's not made up of good men and bad men. Just men."
"Perhaps that means it's time for a woman to sit the Iron Throne."
Bahaha that is such a Dany response, which is beyond perfect.
"You have found a man who loves you unswervingly, who would do anything for you. Do you know what a rare thing that is?
♥
I thought you acknowledged me to be Prince Rhaegar's son. Where lies your loyalty, Imp?"
Doesn’t mean Dany’s not the rightful heir.
Also, he has a lot to learn about Lannisters :P
No one ever spoke of her mother, so that she scarcely gave thought to the woman who had died to give her life.
A sad thing, for sure.
"You see, Aunt?" said Griff. "Your own mother knew that it is not for a queen to follow her heart, but to do her duty. She put aside her knight and married her king."
Hmph. Well, GRIFF, Dany may be like her mother, but she is not her at all. She is much more headstrong and knows that sometimes duty is in fact following your heart.
Jorah had committed no crime for himself, but for love. And if he had not been exiled, he never would have gone to Pentos and become her protector
*dances that she’s remembering this on her own*

It would, though, because the line of ascension goes through Rhaegar's line as long as he has descendents alive. Even if Dany were a man, or if Viserys were alive, Aegon would still take precedence over them. So... Dany's in trouble IF he's the real Aegon!
Thanks so much for your lovely comments! They made me smile. I'm so happy you like my Tyrion and the realizations Dany makes int his chapter. It's been one of my favorites to write.
