You know, I honestly can't decide what I think of Sansa/Tyrion. I wouldn't say I ship it, since Sansa's obvious lack of consent to the marriage wigs me out, but on the other hand, the dynamic between them is intriguing. And if, later on down the road when she's a little older and more mature, Sansa might change her mind and come to genuinely love Tyrion, it could actually be a pretty sweet pairing. (I actually picked only Sansa and Tyrion as the GOT characters I was willing to write for the Christmas fic exchange I'm doing, in hopes that I might get assigned to someone who wanted fic about them, but it didn't happen.)

In any case, despite my ambivalence about the pairing, I enjoyed this fic--possibly because it really seemed to be more about Jaime and Tyrion than Tyrion and Sansa. :p The brotherly banter and snarking was top-notch, here! And I think you've got both of their voices down very well, which I admire because they seem like they could be tricky characters to write.

Are you planning to write any Tyrion/Sansa fic in the future that focuses more on their relationship? I would be really curious to see your interpretation!

It's definitely a problematic relationship, but something about the two of them makes me feel like they could actually be really good together, especially as rulers, once Sansa's grown and matured and learned to operate in this world, and once Tyrion has overcome some of his issues. (read: Tywin and Tysha!) I think what appeals to me is how Sansa brings out Tyrion's kindness--he really is quite the hero on a number of occasions--and how she responded to it, though with caution because obviously she didn't trust a Lannister. Anyway, yes, I see them potentially working far down the road, and it would have to be a very slow-developing relationship, especially before it became intimate.

Thank you so much for reading! I'm really pleased you enjoyed it and felt I captured Jaime and Tyrion, both of whom I was really worried about botching. They're really fun to write with each other, and I do hope we get to see them make up in the books, because it's obvious they really care about each other.

And yes, I do plan to write Sansa/Tyrion down the road! I thought this piece would be shippier, but then Jaime butted in and took over! Hee.

I'd love to see your take on one or any of these characters, too. You write everyone so well!
