Oh, Heroes...why do your new season trailers always fill me with so much hope that you're actually going to be good?
Apparently there's going to be a Sylar-Matt arc this season because of the whole thing where Matt drained Sylar's memories and gave him Nathan's memories. (I will be hugely amused to watch ZQ act circles around poor Greg Grunberg.) Note the clip in the trailer of Sylar holding baby!Matt. Anyone else think it would be totally awesome if Lil' Noah turned out to be Matt's son, kidnapped by Sylar and raised as his own?
Talking of the lurvely Mr. Quinto, Mr. Tater has discovered -- thank God, not my obsession with the GQMF! -- that I'm in the Star Trek fandom. He was installing Windows 7 on my laptop last night and came across a fanfic chapter I was beta reading. When I expressed my mortification, he said, "It's okay, it's not yours, it's your friend's," and he didn't tease me. I decided not to mention that I'd already planned to spend today in a marathon attempt to write my Spock/Uhura fic for trek_exchange, with a deadline of tomorrow. Cross your fingers for me!
In other fic news, I have more than made the deadline for metamorfic_moon's Midsummer Tales event. Last night I posted my fic, which got a spontaneous new title I liked a lot better than the working one:
