I understand completely how you feel. Book 7 fic is really dificult for me to read and write and I need a break from it after doing these couple of DH fics for rt_challenge. Thanks for reading, though! I'm so glad to know you enjoyed. :)
I've so many R/T icons to choose from now, it's hard to choose which one to use. :)
Just reading this one again while I wait for some art to render and I caught what I think might be a typo...
"including his house in Ickenham, his Invisibility Cloak, Magical Truck, Sneakoscope, and other security items, "
I'm thinking it should be Magical Trunk? Unless he could see into the future, as well as closed off rooms, and bought a Tonka truck for the new baby? ;)
I know, I'm indecisive about all the new icons, too.
LOL Magical Truck! Yes, didn't you know, Mad-Eye drove a Ford F-150 until he lost his eye, and then it just sat in his garage until he left it to Tonks. Who of course doesn't drive it because she's far too clumsy, so now it's Remus's truck!
I pegged Mad-Eye as a Hummer owner, actually. Can't you just see him in a big, black tank..erm, HumV with tinted windows? Not one for subtlety, that one. ;)
One of these days I'm going to post my WWRD (what would Remus drive) list. It's rather silly but I've actually put thought into what kind of vehicle each character would drive. Dumbledore's got a 1970's VW Van with a funky paint job. I can see Tonks in a new Beetle or Mini-Cooper and Remus would have an old, but well cared for, bicycle.
I don't usually read R/T, or HP fic in general, but I sort of randomly stumbled across this, and couldn't exactly say no to "lots of sex" if I tried XD
It was LOVELY. Not only realistic in the best ways HP can be, but the writing was deliciously simple and perfect. And the tense you used! Gah, I can NEVER get away with that, and I admire you all the more for pulling it off so effortlessly.
Great, really wonderful addition to the world of fic. This is something to be proud of.
Oh wow, it's so lovely to know this pulled you in and you enjoyed it even though you don't read much HP fic. Thank you very much not only for reading, but taking the time to comment. I don't write on present tense often, but sometimes it's just the one needed, so it's great to know you found it effective here.
Ok, so I am coming in late in the game on this fic, therefore, I am certain any comment I make at this point won't be novel but let me at least reiterate my reaction to Waterfalls and officially restate that I love the romantic and sexy direction you are steering Dora and Remus
( ... )
No such thing as late in fanfic! Thanks so much for reading this. I'm just thrilled that you like the way I've filled in the blanks in this relationship. It was driving me nuts after DH to see the comments flying that Remus wasn't happy with Tonks, when obviously what was going on was that Harry was seeing Remus at the most stressful moments, so of course he wasn't exuding newlywed bliss! If only Harry had caught them alone together.... Well, Harry would have had more than just that lightning bolt scar. ;)
Anyway, I'm so delighted that you like the smut and the pregnancy indicators. I had such fun writing those. And I just couldn't ask for a better compliment than my Dora and Remus charmed you. Thanks so, so much!
It's Tippie from SimplyUndeniable. Again.

I love this. I love your Remus. 'Although Lupin smiled as he shook Harry's hand, Harry thought he looked rather unhappy. It was all very odd; Tonks, beside him, looked simply radiant.'
I knew Tonks was with child the second I read that. I often wonder if I was the only one, but I really liked this entire thing. Yay.

Thanks very much! And you're not alone in having thought Tonks was pregnant because of the "radiant" line. I got all hopeful at that wondering if the R/T shippers could really be so lucky.
Thanks for your kind words! I'm pleased you enjoyed. :)

Thanks for the typo catch. And for re-reading. :)

Tonks would be so cute in a bright yellow or green Beetle -- with those flower decals all over the dash, right?
Remus would be sexy on a bicycle...
I want to read your WWRD list!
