(Continued from Part One)

A heartbeat of silence.

Two.

What the hell was going on? Was this really Fleur, or someone else impersonating Fleur? Because nothing had struck Tonks as so singularly out of character as Fleur not immediately pouncing on the opportunity to show off her knowledge of information others weren't privy to. My apologies if this is a bit incoherent, as it's past time for Taters to be in their beds... Thank you so much for this review. You're another person I should thank for urging me to continue this AU. I did hate the thought of abandoning it, and believe it or not DH has inspired a lot -- a lot of doing the opposite of what it did, lol, but inspiration nonetheless, and I'm now really excited to get back to it and will try very hard to get some time on it even during the Jumble. The plot bunnies are hopping around like mad.

I can't tell you how excited I am that you like Pye! He started out as just an incidental throwaway character because Tonks needed a healer, but he really took on a life of his own and I have such a fun time with his pompousness, I'm thinking of writing him a plotline even after Tonks gets out of St. Mungo's. So her release will most likely not be the last you see of him. ;)

At times when I was writing Fleur and the twins wanted to steal the show from Remus and Tonks, so I'm tickled (pink!) you like them in this chapter. I do think humor is important for making serious themes stand out, and I'm pleased you think I managed to do that here. I definitely do have a lot of angstier things in store, but hopefully enough humor to off-set it.

And of course you'll be seeing lots more of the Order. There should be a full meeting in Ch. 8 with lots of planning for all they'll be doing. ;)

And now I'm about to konk out, so I'll close by saying again: THANK YOU!
