Thank you so much! I'd been wanting to write a POA-era R/T fic for some time, and the prompts inspired a plot. I'm very glad to know you like it so far. I'll update soon!

Yay! I did find it and just finished reading. What a lovely story. :)

I really enjoyed your characterization of Remus-- he was very bold and oh so charming to what I've been reading recently. This was exceptionally fresh and it was very obvious that you spent quality time on writing both R & T's little character details and nuanses. Also, I love the way you visually contrast them in this story-- the colorful Nymph, the gray Professor. They are two pieces to one aren't they?

I'll be friending you to keep an eye on the rest of your writing. Thanks again for the enjoyable and contemplative read!

Cheers,

Lyra

Thank you so much! I'm really pleased to know you enjoyed this piece so much. It's my favorite thing I've ever written, and the one I'm proudest of, and I'm especially thrilled you liked my character of Remus and how he contrasts with Tonks. :)

And I've friended you back, if you don't mind. Look forward to getting to know you!

"If I were going to birdnap a bloody flock of Snidgets," said Tonks, "I know I'd stage the first ever in Wizarding history Azkaban breakout as a cover-up."

This story is cute.

Who'd have thought Slytherins and Ravenclaws bred Hufflepuffs? Her dad always said it was symbolic of their love story, but Tonks just thought it figured that a Metamorphmagus didn't really fit anywhere.

I guess the Slytherin part decided that Gryffindor wasn't right for her ;)

Her attention was drawn back to Scrimgeour by a flash of white as he suddenly bared his teeth in a grin. "Though lower than perfect can hardly be considered low, can it?"

Stop it. You're making me actually like Scrimgeour. He makes such a great point.
I can't help but like him. He's so nice to Tonks.

"Stop whinging, you lazy bachelor! That's what Scourgifies are for."

"Yeah, well you leave the Scourgify to me. I've seen you cast them, and I won't have you stripping the dye--"

Tonks whisked out her wand. "Keep it up, Shacklebolt, or the dye won't be the only thing stripped--"

hehehehehe! Poor Kingsley. I love her, but I wouldn't want her to perform the Scourgify on me either. :P
I do love her humor. And I would hope it wouldn't be stomped out of her.

This is my current pet project, and one that I intend to see through with as much canon-compliance as possible to fill in from POA to DH (I plan to be writing it for the next 20 years, LOL) and so I really hope you enjoy this rather unconventional take! I'm really pleased you like the start so far, with Scrimgeour. I know what you mean about not wanting to like him! That's always seemed like one of the tragedies to me about the Ministry people -- they're really good people at hart, with lots of potential, but fear really works a number on them. It's something I look forward to developing over time ( ... )

Good luck making this close to canon. :)

That's so very true. I never really looked at it like that. But while, in the end, I can not hate Scrimgeour, there's something about Fudge that irks me.
Does Fudge have a heart? :P

I'll keep checking back in here once I've read up to ch. 5 and in between the TH series and all your other stuff...so much to read! LOL
