XD A gaggle of Dementors. That entire exchange is a riot. It reminds me of a time a couple of friends and I were trying to figure out what to call a group of zombies, and then it was decided that we had to alliterate... it got quite riotous, and I don't even remember what we decided on in the end. Beyond that personal anecdote, that section seems to serve as a proof that laughter really is the best medicine.

Randomly, I've never thought of the Wolfsbane Potion as "purging" the wolf, versus suppressing it. But I rather like it and it makes quite a bit of sense. I don't suppose the wolf really likes either.

"Oh. That is certainly comforting. Thank you."

Maybe it's just for me, but I feel like somewhere in there is the culminating point for Remus. So much of this series (this isn't for bad, so don't take it that way!) is a focus on him, almost a study in a way that I find completely fascinating. It's a challenge, I think, and you're carrying it off so well. Poor Remus. :( On the other hand, things can only go up from here!

I just love what you've built in this series. Thank you so much for sharing. I'll admit that I wasn't all that enamoured with the idea of a pre-existing R/T as a relationship, but you've convinced me. I'm not even sure what I was thinking or if I was being contrary. :P on me!

I love random, ridiculous conversations, so I'm really pleased this one rang true for you. It was fun to give Remus and Tonks a light, frivolous moment like that.

This was actually a point I believe ladybracknell suggested at metamorfic_moon in a recent discussion. Glad you felt it worked here -- it really made me think about some new aspects of things, and somehow tied in with Tonks' Patronus.

Nope, that's exactly what I intended, so I"m so pleased it read that way to you.

Thanks so much for your lovely feedback. I'm really pleased you've seen my take as feasible for the characters. Hope you continue to enjoy the last few installments.
