Christmas stuff
What are people in the Manchester area doing on Boxing Day?
I have conceded to go to my parent's again this year for Christmas Day. It's kinda gutting that the first year I could have finally gotten out of it, we're not living in the big house on Wellington Road anymore and not having people round.
But, my brother's girlfriend and I have talked, and she's convinced me to go to Bradford.
HOWEVER!
She's totally chickened out of Boxing Day with the extended family, and I have no desire to either be made a spectacle of, or have my promiscuous cousin's kids lumped on me, like the year before last. Without her and my brother there, I need an excuse to get away and something else to do.
So - back to the question; what are people up to on Boxing Day? I know some people are travelling away for some time over the period and stuff, but who's left? Has anyone got plans that could fit one more, or are people perhaps up for coming round for an afternoon / evening of finger food, movies and fun?
