1. Doctor Who marathon on Syfy, FTW. :)

2. Last night's "Mad Men"

3. School starts this week!

I guess even though they no longer have the rights to it, Syfy occasionally likes to air episodes featuring DT's Doctor. This makes me one very happy young lady! Right now they're showing "The Poison Sky," which has Donna AND Wilfrid in it! YUS. Martha's still around too, which is fine. I've only seen a couple episodes with her, and while I don't love her, I'm not sure why so many people dislike her. She's not my favorite, but she's alright! (Favorites are Donna and Amy of course! ^^)

Not sure what to think of the latest episode of "Mad Men."  For some characters, the growth and progress has just been amazing! Peggy, for instance, is becoming bolder and much more sure of herself, and I like it. She really stuck it to her new creative partner. Sadly, there wasn't much Pete/Peggy, but their heated look the other week set me up pretty well for awhile. Don Draper continues his journey to Rock Bottom at breakneck speed. Now he's reached the point where he's lost an entire weekend to a drunken haze and woken up in bed with a woman he can't even remember taking home. I like that he's gotten a fresh start, but for all I can see, he's squandering it in a haze of booze and one night stands. That said, I loved it when he kissed Joan after he won his Cleo award! :D The only thing I ship more than Roger/Joan is Don/Joan. They have crazy chemistry. Lane/Joan is also interesting as well, since he seems to think he's immune to her charms. I call shenanigans. ;) That's the great thing about this show: there are a lot of possibilities.  I wonder how things are going to work out now that Ken Cosgrove's back. Seems like Pete has firmly established the pecking order at any rate. I like him devious. :)

My senior year begins this Thursday. I can't believe that it's come so quickly! I'm a little nervous, because I'm doing my thesis and everything this year. It's a big project, but I really think it's going to be worth it. I've been told that if I do go on to grad school that I can use it as a writing sample. I used to think that I'd just keep going, because I do want to get my Ph.D. in lit--Brit Lit, since I've accumulated a fairly good background in it and it's what I love best. I'd still like to do that, but I'm thinking of trying to find myself a career first. I want to get into copy-editing, and it would be nice to have the proper time to devote all of my attention to my novel. It's been really tough to get anything done while I'm in school. I'm pleased with it, but I wish it was further along. I'm also anxious to start my own life, you know? Save money, get a place of my own, do a bit of traveling. I'm thinking of giving myself a year, either way. If I get a job, I'll go to night school part time for at least my Master's. If I don't get a job, it's gonna be full time. There's also the option of freelance work. I could set up a website, and see if I get clients that way. I have already edited a novel (the book I mentioned, X-Factor by Don Macphail. Amazon, people! ^^) Here's hoping for an amazing year at Bridgewater State UNIVERSITY. That's right folks, we're uni now! No more "college" for us. :)

I feel like it's even more like Harry Potter now. All we need are uniforms. :D
