Happy Petrarch Day!
Today is Petrarch's birthday! I won't say exactly how old he is this year, but just know that it's pretty damn old!
(Weird fact: Yesterday was the anniversary of his death.)
I was going to go for Italian with a friend today, but she has problems with asthma and the weather is not good for her today. Even us folks without breathing problems are finding it a wee bit difficult to function!
Not sure what I'm going to do instead. I've done a ton of housework this past week, so I really don't feel like it today. Maybe I'll just run the Swiffer over the floor, keep things smelling nice. Then of course, the laundry needs to be ironed, but those things take like, what, 20 minutes?
I think I'm going to do research most of the day. Maybe I'll blast some Italian music, in honor! :D
Besides, since the people across the street were kind enough to blast their rap music at 1am, I think I'll return the favor and drown them in some Pavarotti. I'm sure they'd like that very much. Just being neighborly! ;)
