In all seriousness, happy Independence Day tomorrow everyone! :) It's a good day to be with friends and family and to enjoy some fireworks. I'll be heading to Plymouth with my family after work tomorrow to see them. I'll be the girl wearing ten layers of clothing because yet again I've come down with a lovely July/summer cold! Last year, I felt ill from July to October. I hope it doesn't go that long this year. However, it's only been about 24 hours and I ALREADY feel like plague has set in, so that's not a good sign.
Anywho, tomorrow is a good day to remember the fundamental ideas that this country was founded upon. Granted, they've not always been adhered to (or even APPLIED to everyone who lives here. Suck on that, Jefferson. Seriously. :P), but it's a good day to get back to basics and think about what America is supposed to be. I also think it's a good basis for how PEOPLE should be: let's all strive for some equality, yeah? :)
