I'll never know what made it so exciting, but all at once my heart took flight

More business. Really. Very busy. Quite busy. CRAZY busy. But, I AM enjoying my work. I've finished Astrophil and Stella, and now only lack a time machine, so that I can go back and marry Sir Philip. If only, my friends, if only. In other literary news, I am now friends with Geoffrey Chaucer on Twitter, he was a bit courtly/gallant, and now I'm "going to Canterbury." That's right. I'm traveling with the likes of the Wife of Bath. My social life is really picking up, yes? XD

In other news: I GOT A NEW PHONE!!!! Alas, my poor little brick remained at the store. I did not get it back, and I won't get to take it on Antiques Roadshow five years hence. I miss it, and will always remember it fondly. That said, Brick Part Deux is really quite stylish. It is a Samsung Propel, with full keyboard AND camera! I already made myself a Jane Austen background. Don't act all surprised or scoff, because you're talking to the girl who flirts with Chaucer, remember? I may not want to bring that up in Professor Sexton's class. He still thinks I'm mostly normal, despite my choice in friends. That said, I love all of you and your weirdness very, very much, ok?

I can't really say that much else is going on at this point. I have a lot of work coming up in the next few weeks. It's like Doctor Crowley says: "Eventually, everything gets done." I am also a firm believer in "This too shall pass" (Tolkien), and so I'm not really overly stressed. I am simply enjoying my education while I can.

Today is also Plato's birthday! If you are unfamiliar with is philosophy/work, I suggest you look him up. And exit the cave. (That one's for my fellow Platonists!) Today also marks ONE WEEK until NYC! I'm really excited to be taking my Mom. She's wonderful to travel with, and so is Sam, actually. We had a swell time last time, and this visit should be no exception!

My 21st birthday is also not far on the horizon. I want a Frank Sinatra birthday. That would be swingin'!
