Today was fun. Sam and I got an early start. We went to book buybacks first, where I got ONE HUNDRED FIFTEEN DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS back for the books I returned!!!! I've never gotten that much, and this was the least amount of books I've ever had to bring back! I am kind of thrilled about this.
After that, we turned in our Cryptography papers. Professor Heilman was in his office, so we chatted him up for a few minutes. After that, we went to the RCC to clean out our locker. Well, Sam mostly used it, but we always split the "rent" evenly. It's all of a dollar. I had some sweatpants in there, so I finally took them home. They've been waiting for me since September! Good thing I hadn't used them before I stowed them in there! That would have been entirely too gross. Once that was done, we went to the Computer Lab for a couple of minutes and then headed over to the art building to turn in our papers for our Picasso class. I saw Professor Cochrane there, which was great because he looks like Brittany's dad AND Father Jay! He also sounds like them. And he's a total sweetie, so it was good to see him again. Since we finally had some time to do so, we took the bus. For the first time EVER, it was on time. AND it got us where we needed to be in a reasonable time and manner. It was amazing. We went back to my car and headed over to Burlington Coat Factory to kill some time.
I ended buying a really adorable beach dress to wear over my bathing suit and Sam bought some nice cargo pants. We tried to find, you know, FUNCTIONAL bathing suits, but I guess we were dreaming the impossible dream. All they had were expensive sporty suits and terrible little things that looked like floss. Yeah. NOT gonna happen. We puttered around the store for over an hour, and then we went to the 99 for lunch. It was tasty--as usual--and we had buffalo wings, as usual. They didn't make us want to cry for our mothers this time though. I was privately relieved. Now I'm home and I have some gift wrapping to do for Bubba's birthday dinner tonight and for mother's day. Then we're all going out to the Country Buffet for Bubba. It was the only place we could feasible fit the Quidditch team that is Paul's family. It's cool though. I get to see my little GODDAUGHTER (<3) and the twins! It should be interesting, if anything.
